Integrated Family and Youth Service is proudly supported by our Service Patrons, Caroline Hutchinson and Simon Black.

Both of our patrons work tirelessly to support the work of our agency. 

Caroline and Simon are dedicated to assisting children, young people and families live in healthy and vibrant communities.

Caroline Hutchinson

I have always had a heart for those who are experiencing hardship, more often than not through no fault of their
own. 

My role as a journalist and radio presenter, over the years, has meant that I am sometimes privy, first hand to some
heartbreaking stories and our state, like any other, has had its fair share of tragedies and hard luck stories.

Ever since being asked by IFYS to be the guest speaker at the ‘Big Brother Big Sister’ campaign launch in 2005, I have become increasingly aware of the great work that IFYS has been doing throughout Queensland. 

I've come to respect both the quality and the volume of services that they provide and commend the staff for their dedication and skill.

Simon Black

As a patron I am impressed with the dedication and support that the staff of IFYS have in making young people and their families’ lives more fulfilled.

As a large organisation that provides a wide range of services to young people and families across the southeastern corner of our state, IFYS staff can be commended for setting a standard of care that is still highly personal, focused and passionate.

With such genuine commitment being demonstrated within all levels of IFYS on a daily basis, it will be very easy for me, as a patron, to continue to be an avid supporter and advocate for this organisation in the years ahead.
